Planning Ahead for Special Events

The American Academy of Neurology’s Brain and Life mag, written to populate neurologists’ waiting rooms, has a very practical article in its June/July issue: tips for persons living with neurological conditions who may want to plan their attendance at special events (graduation ceremonies, timely! Or weddings) well ahead of time. Writer Caitlin Heaney West gleaned many pearls of wisdom from her interviewees. For instance, evaluating whether the venue will exacerbate vision problems, or avoiding isolation by adapting your attendance to what will be easiest to tolerate, or taking advantage of priority boarding.
