I thank Ted Lasso’s creative team for making footballers’ lives more familiar – but it was interesting that the subject of head trauma on the field (other than Van Damme/Zoreaux’ broken nose) was not addressed.

Enter Briana Scurry, Olympic soccer star, who is educating others about traumatic brain injury on the field, her own experience, and what difficulties patients may face in getting insurance coverage for concussion evaluation and therapies.
